Second-hand record and book shop, with a good range of fiction and non-fiction.
The main focus of this shop, which opened in 2014, is second-hand records, but it has a large stock of second-hand books too. These include some good-quality and unusual non-fiction, among which (naturally enough) are books on music. Irish interest and history are among the main specialities, with a large and good selection. There is also quite a wide range of fiction. A fair number of vintage books, as well as plenty of more recently published works.
Arklow railway station is on the Dublin-Rosslare line, which also serves Wicklow, Gorey and Wexford. Arklow is also served by Wexford to Dublin buses (routes 2 and 740, which run via Gorey and between them provide a half-hourly service), as well as the 740A Gorey-Dublin route. Other buses run to Wicklow and Naas (183) and Carlow (800). The buses stop very close to the shop, but the railway station is not much more than a five-minute walk away. Booker T 03.08.25

Charity bookshop with quite a large stock, also sells records and vintage comics.
The opening of this shop in August 2023 has partly filled the void left by the closure of Bray's long-established Town Hall Bookshop. WH Five Loaves is a charity set up to help the homeless and disadvantaged in Co. Wicklow. Booker T 18.04.24

Children's bookshop with a second-hand section, specialising in beautifully illustrated books. Also sells a wide range of prints.
After six years in Dublin city centre, in 2022 the owner moved her shop 12 miles south to the seaside town of Bray. The shop is right by the DART station and very near the seafront. From May 2024 it will be open six days a week (closed only on Mondays). Booker T 18.04.24
